Three Unique Summer Experiences. One Horizon Summer.
Each year, Horizon Japan International School offers a range of Summer School programs designed to support learning, exploration, and personal growth beyond the academic year. Preschool & Pre-K
Our Summer School Program for Preschool and Pre-K (EYP) students follows a Reggio-Inspired Play Theme, which encourages young learners to explore, create, and discover through hands-on, play-based experiences. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, this approach views children as capable, curious, and active participants in their learning journey and Fridays will be field trip days.

Our on-campus Summer School program for Kinder to Grade 5 will offer fun, hands-on STEAM learning designed to match each age/grade level. Students will take part in engaging activities such as simple science experiments, creative art projects, building and design challenges, beginner-friendly coding/technology tasks, and games that develop maths skills and problem-solving.
In addition to STEAM, students will enjoy a variety of active sessions throughout the week, including sports and fitness activities such as martial arts, basketball, and football/soccer. Thursdays will be pool days, and Fridays will be field trip days.
