Avenue for Creative Expression
HJIS offers a variety of arts programs on campus comprising visual and performing arts classes along with digital filmmaking, arranged within the school day. Students can engage in most art courses to the IB level and are run by qualified specialist teachers.
By embracing our HJIS spirit, we strive for our Hawks to enjoy themselves while supporting each other as a proud unified team. Our athletes are recognized for their enthusiasm, accomplishments, and sportsmanship. We make every effort to achieve competitive merit and for the personal growth of our players by assisting them in advancing their skills while promoting strong commitment, grit, leadership, and always encouraging the pursuit of passion.
OUR Facilities
Opened in 2019, our state-of-the-art campus in Yokohama was purposefully designed for 21st-century learning. From bright, flexible classrooms to science labs, creative studios, and expansive athletic spaces. Horizon is built to inspire. Students also enjoy our rooftop sports area, affectionately known as The Nest, where our Hawks soar.
