HJIS takes pride in providing specialist teachers and facilities within a number of subject areas. With a specialist teacher, students receive focused instruction at varied levels and extended support according to the student’s needs, from a teacher knowledgeable in their subject area. Classroom teachers are able to focus their efforts on instructing Language and Social Studies as well as student progress and assessment.
