We already have students from more than 20 nationalities represented in our school community, providing a rich cultural mix and an exciting learning environment.

We provide a comprehensive education for students from preschool through to upper elementary. We are dedicated to providing programs of the highest quality in a truly international setting. We follow the Cambridge International Curricula and our education philosophy is underpinned by a low student-to-teacher ratio, strong student-teacher relationships and extensive extracurricular programs.

Our outstanding faculty members are closely involved with our students, not only in the classroom, but as coaches, advisors, mentors and friends. Our teaching staff foster an atmosphere that encourages our students to engage in rigorous intellectual activity and to develop independent thinking skills.

HJIS's goal is to ensure that all students are actively involved in their education and learn in new and innovative ways. HJIS also strives to create an appropriate balance between the academic and the non-academic, something we feel is important for our students’ broader education.
