We are thankful for the contributions of the members of the wider Horizon community as they make a lot of things possible and easier. Your opinions, cooperation and support is also welcome anytime, anywhere. It is a given that most people are busy and can only donate hours at sporadic times. This need not hinder your support. HJIS is seeking volunteers from the wider community to teach an After School Programme (ASP) for the 2010-2011 Academic Year. It is also a good opportunity for tutors who would like to expand their target audience. There is no set area for the ASP, but our students enjoy recreational classes that help them relax, socialize and enjoy. Examples of past and current volunteered ASPs are: - Calligraphy Club - Dance - Volleyball - Tae Kwon-Do The ASP is organized in ten-week blocks per term and the times are 3:30~4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Although we are looking for volunteers, HJIS will be happy to reimburse the transportation expenses as a sign of gratitude.
