RELENTLESS COMPETITION AT PTA CUP 2018

Horizon Japan International School’s main campus housed PTA CUP 2018 – Volleyball tournament on April 7, 2018. Twenty seven players competing in four teams put up a relentless performance in pursuit of the trophy.
Our PTA Board led by President Mrs. Onishi orchestrated a very successful organization with the support of the dedicated HJIS community. Mrs. Onishi and Principal Chuck also joined matches in an effort to be the “very much needed stopping power’’ against our invincible teachers team.

However, we are not going to mention any match results as we believe that there was only one winner: the whole HJIS community setting forth this amusing event.

HJIS parents proved their advance level volleyball skills by giving our students’ team a hard time.
HJIS Students team also revealed an excellent performance in the tournament. They played a blinder against teachers and parents.
The HJIS competition spirit presented itself in the friendly atmosphere of our tournament.
Mr. Zekuan, an HJIS father, demonstrated ultimate defending skills against the piercing attacks of Mr. Bates and Mr. Aldridge.
Mr. Bates and Mr. Aldridge had to combine their powers to get through Mr. Chuck’s solid defensive wall.
The games also had to be stopped sporadically by our referees due to adorable intruders dashing through the field to access their parents.
We are happy to know this fun tournament brought our splendid community together for the moments to be remembered for a long time.

Thank you very much Horizon for making this event happen.
